NEWS from Lisa: Germinating in June
Henrietta in her new home.
Thanks so much to everyone who visited me at The Other Art Fair in May. It was great to see so many familiar faces as well as friends from the past who found me coincidentally, at this amazing event. As a result of this exhibition, I was overjoyed to find a new home for ‘Henrietta’ - my Matisse Still Life-inspired totem that now enjoys a wonderful view through a picture window overlooking the sea.
Below are some photos of my stand at The Other Art Fair.

Recent Totem Workshop with some great results.
From each exhibition comes the seed for the next. These ceramic licorice allsorts so popular at the Fair are now leading into some new Memphis-inspired work to be exhibited in October at The Sydney Ceramics Market, Carriageworks.
May also saw more amazing results from another great group of totem participants.
Meanwhile, my obsession with white Waratahs continues. If you’d like to share the Waratah-making experience, join the August workshop to learn how to make your own. More details below.
June promises to be a month for germinating new ideas and new workshops. Check out Landscape Platters & Plates for setting your winter table with some painterly tableware.

Looking for a shared woodwork shed in Sydney?
You’ve found it!
The Bakehouse Shed in Marrickville is a space for people with a woodwork project but no space
Or machines, or tools.
It's even for people with no skills and a vague idea about what end of a hammer to hold.
